My Latest Splurges

I did some online shopping this week and added a few additions to my summer work wardrobe. Thanks Zara xxx

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this blazer from Zara, I am wearing it today! I simply adore the collar.

I am quite chuffed with this little tee and it’s not badly priced either. I need more organic clothing I think!

These are a few other staples I added to my closet too…

A- Blazing

I love this spring/summer trend for 2011. These masculine meets feminine-style blazers are a perfect statement for the office and double up as a urber-flattering over garment to breeze you into the warm nights in the city. Statement shoulders as well as the fabulous design patterns and minimalist approach all contribute to the classy look of these outerwear pieces. Pair the faddish blazers with cute wide-leg pants, jumpsuits as well as rompers and cropped pants if you wish.

Here are a few of my favourite examples taken from the collections of Balmain, A Detacher, Dsquared2 as well as D&G.

ADDRESS

275 Florida Road

You just have to scoot over to this gorgeous little Durban city treat, Macaroon Cafe. It is such a cute little cafe- I wish it had been my idea, this is just up my alley! I love any excuse for a tasty nibble and this place just hit the spot. Having lived in London for a year I am quite ashamed to admit I had yet to try a macaroon, until I stepped inside this cafe. Alas my sweet tooth now knows better and I just can’t seem to get enough. Note to self the  brownies were a hit with my mom too!
